The director of 9 to 5 the Musical has announced that he would like to see the broadway show turned into a movie musical. Lets hope that happens!

Actor Alan Cumming will be performing at Lincoln Center on Feb. 7 as part of the "American Songbook" series. The songs of Dolly will be a part of his two sets. The exact songs are not known. Cumming will also be performing the songs of another great artist, Cyndi Lauper. Read the article here.

2009 Dollywood Appearances
Dolly will be making her first public appearance of Dollywood's 2009 season on March 28. This a change from her usual April appearance. The Dolly Parade in Pigeon Forge will be the weekend of May 8 - 9, when she returns for the 75th Anniversary of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Dollywood will also have a new stage show titled Sha - Kon -O- Hey! Land of Blue Smoke in the Celebrity Theatre. The show will run May 9 - October 31. Dolly has written eight songs for this stage show which will be part of a new album. Proceeds from the album will go to Friends of the Smokies.

Dolly's official site DollyPartonMusic.net has announce that Dolly's next single will be Backwoods Barbie. They will also be shooting a new video for this single. This will be the fourth single from her album Backwoods Barbie!
